As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, we at Gentos are delighted to celebrate this special moment with you.
Celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, the Dragon Boat Festival or Duanwu Jie-is to commemorate the ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan, whose legacy of loyalty and courage continues to be remembered today.
Over the centuries, Duanwu has also come to symbolize health, protection from illness, and the strength of community. One of its most beloved customs is enjoying zongzi-fragrant glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, filled with both sweet and savory delights.
At Gentos, we believe meaningful moments are built not only on tradition, but on the care we show one another. That's why, in the spirit of the season, we've prepared specially curated gift boxes for our employees and partners. Inside are a variety of handmade zongzi-both sweet and savory-as well as fresh seasonal fruits, carefully chosen to bring a little comfort and joy.
