Working Principle

Measuring Flow

The flow sensor is installed in the system to monitor the flow rate of the fluid. This could be water in a district heating system or a cooling fluid in a chilled water system. The flow sensor counts how much liquid is moving through the system, either by mechanical or ultrasonic means.

Recording Temperature

At the same time, the two temperature sensors capture the temperature of the fluid entering the system and the temperature of the fluid leaving it. The difference between these two temperatures is crucial, as it indicates how much energy is being transferred.

Energy Calculation
