A: Installation of the flow meter must be in the correct orientation with water flowing in the direction of the arrow on the flow meter body. All HC Flow Meters must be installed horizontally with the dial facing upward. 2. Connect flowmeter wire: Two-wire cable is required.

Q: How do I adjust a water flow meter?

A: By adjusting the position of regulating valve on the upstream side, the rate of flow is adjusted. At the desired rate of flow, the difference in pressure gauge readings fitted on the upstream and downstream side of the water meter is noted.

Q: Why is my flow meter not reading correctly?

A: Flow meters and controllers need to be calibrated to account for the temperature, pressure, density, and viscosity of the fluids they are metering. A meter's calibration can be off if: It was poorly calibrated in the factory. It is being used with the wrong gas or liquid mix.
