The D116 ultrasonic flowmeter can monitor the flow changes of fluids in pipelines in real time. When a pipeline leaks, the fluid flow velocity and flow rate near the leak point will change, and these changes will be accurately captured and recorded by the ultrasonic flow meter. By analyzing the flow data monitored by the ultrasonic flow meter, flow abnormalities in the pipeline can be discovered in time. When the flow data fluctuates abnormally or drops suddenly, the system can initially determine that there may be a leak in the pipeline. Combined with the length, diameter and other parameters of the pipeline and the installation position of the ultrasonic flow meter, the specific location of the leakage point can be further calculated.

A4:Before installing the transducers, clean the pipe surface where the transducers are to be mounted. Remove any rust, scale or loose paint and make a smooth surface. Choose a section of sound conducting pipe for installing the transducers. Apply a wide band of sonic coupling compound down the center of the face of each transducer as well as on the pipe surface, ensure there are no air bubbles between the transducers and the pipe wall, and then attach the transducers to the pipe with the straps provided and tighten them securely
