The ultrasonic energy meter E8 operates based on the principle of transit-time. Transit-time principle is in the transit-time method, one transducer sends an ultrasonic pulse diagonally across the flowing fluid to the receiving transducer. The time it takes for the ultrasonic pulse to travel from one transducer to the other is measured. The meter calculates the time difference between upstream and downstream pulses to determine the BMS water flow velocity. When the fluid is flowing, the velocity of the fluid affects the transit time of the ultrasonic pulses. The meter then calculates the flow rate using the pipe's cross-sectional area and the fluid velocity. Ultrasonic energy meters often incorporate temperature and pressure sensors to compensate for changes in fluid properties. Compensation is necessary to ensure accurate measurement under different operating conditions. Ultrasonic energy meters have no moving parts, reducing wear and tear. BMS water meter E8 is non-intrusive, as the transducers are mounted on the outside of the pipe. It suitable for a wide range of fluid types, including BMS water. E8 can provide high accuracy under appropriate conditions. The meter has a built-in 8G big capacity SD card, with strong data acquisition and storage function. It collects the flow, flow rate, net accumulation, positive accumulation and negative accumulation corresponding to each time to ensure no data loss. The meter supports wall mount installation and clamp on pipe installation. The clamp on pipe installation installs meter transmitter on measured pipe line, thus reducing the trouble of cable routing, which will save so much time and energy.
