The D116-PT1000 clamp-on BTU flow meter is a type of flow meter that can be attached externally to a pipe without the need for cutting or modifying the pipe. It uses ultrasonic technology to measure the flow rate and heat by clamping onto the outside of the pipe and transmitting ultrasonic signals through the pipe wall.
